The Twisted Torchbearer, a Candela Obscura Assignment

INTRODUCTION

I've been in a rotating GM circle with four other Candela Obscura GMs for a year. We take turns running assignments. 

A summary of Assignment 364: 

A circus performer and member of Candela, Mila lost her twin brother Milo to a strange incident that occurred during their aerial act four years ago, leaving Milo in a coma, though she often hears him whispering in her mind.

Now another member of the circus, Juggler Toby, has suffered a similar mysterious coma. What is causing members of this circus to fall into unconsciousness? Is it a malady of the mind, or of the soul?

Conclusion:

A psychopomp vanth called Jespin stumbled across some bleed-infested juggle balls when he came to collect Hallow Jack, son of the Magnificent Marvolio, his famous juggling father. Using the juggle balls leads to a ferocious appetite to collect things. Jespin couldn't help himself as he watched Milo pass near him high in the sky where he watched from a thinning. It was so easy to just - pluck - his spirit from his body and keep it with him in the space between life, death, and the flare.
